Nehemiah Chapter 6 – questions for small groups and reflection

1.           When have you been persistent in prayer and seen that prayer

2.           When have you been persistent in prayer and nothing has happened?

3.           Nehemiah perseveres with his task despite constant difficulties. When

have you had to show perseverance like this?

4.           How can you tell if you should persevere with something or if it is

right to let it go?

5.           How do we show perseverance in our faith? What does this look like

for us as Christians?

Brighter Futures Blanket

This is our first blanket of 2023 which I delivered to GWH last week.

Thanks to all our knitters and also to Jean Ford who sewed it up.

It will go to the End of Life Unit to brighten the patients room.

The family are then able to take it home.

Eco Top Tips – practical ways to take better care of God’s creation

March – Going shopping

  1. Make a list before you go food shopping to help avoid over impulse buying and buying food you will end up throwing away.
  2. Reduce your impact on the environment by buying second hand when you can. Ebay and charity shops are good sources of reused items.
