Services

During the present time…

To help keep everybody safe during the pandemic, we’re doing some things a bit differently. Our current pattern of Sunday worship is:

8:00 Holy Communion or Morning Prayer in church (traditional language).

10:00 Morning Worship/Holy Communion in church,  and live on YouTube.

4pm Church at 4 – every week in church for a family celebration.

Attending services in the church building:

We follow all Government and Church of England guidelines with regard to COVID 19.  Although restrictions have been eased by the government, we are conscious that not everyone feels comfortable with close contact with others. Therefore we continue to practice social distancing within the church building, and request that everyone who attends wears a face covering (unless exempt).  We are also continuing to keep a record of those who attend for Track & Trace (records will be destroyed after 6 weeks)..

The congregation are now allowed to sing (with face covering on).

There is no longer any need to book for services, and we look forward to welcoming you in Church.

For people who don’t use computers:

Each week we hand deliver a copy of the service sheet to people who don’t use computers, so that they can pray privately. If you know someone who would like to be included in this, please let us know.

In more normal times…

We are confident that you will be able to find a style of worship that suits you, and we look forward to welcoming you to one of our services. Please contact us if you would like further information.

Contemporary

‘Church at 4’ meets at the Parish Church Hall at 4pm each Sunday and takes an informal, contemporary approach, which we hope will be welcoming to anyone and everyone. The service provides opportunities for sung worship, interactive teaching and prayer. Arrive at 3:50 and grab a cuppa and a slice of cake!

We also offer a dedicated programme for children, including a creche.

After the service we gather for coffee and refreshments. The service is attended by about 70 people.
