Phill’s last service with us is 10.00 am on 4th January we will formally acknowledge his leaving and give him our thanks for his service to us, together with gifts and wishes.
Finance Update
For the last few weeks, we have been asking you to prayerfully consider the amount you can give to the church in 2026. Thank you to those who have responded. We were £230 per week short to balance our budget and I am pleased to say that the 40% of people who have responded have pledged an additional £97 per week, but this still leaves us short by about £133 per week. The PCC is meeting on Tuesday to make a decision on next year’s budget.
If you did not respond, please could you consider doing this. If everyone who has not yet responded was able to give an additional £2 per week this would close the gap.
Community Christmas Card
Please sign our Community Christmas Card that was made by the children. The money you have saved by not buying cards for your friends in church can be donated to the Children’s Society in the box provided.
CHRISTINGLE MAKING
We will be gathering in the church at 9am on Christmas Eve to make the Christingle oranges for the services in the afternoon. All volunteers to help will be most welcome.
Filling Station – Volunteer Driver
The filling station are asking for a volunteer to drive the filling station van on a Thursday (its 6 till 8) on a rota, about every five weeks. If this is something you could help with please contact Angus Macpherson macpherson.angus@btopenworld.com
Carol Singing
Thanks to everyone who joined us for Carol singing yesterday afternoon. We received warm welcomes at both venues. This photo was taken at Lansdowne Hill. When we had finished there we went to Banks Place and they kindly took a collection to add to our donations for The Children’s Society. Janet Henderson
